Driving Miss Daisy is an exceptionally elegant mare in foal to a rare Buckskin/Dun Andalusian. She has given me four spectacular foals: a buckskin Shire, two Cremello Lusitano colts and a gray Andalusian colt. All have perfect conformation and temperaments.

Daisy gets pregnant easily, has no problems foaling, and is a wonderful mother. I don't know how much training she has had -- we've sat on her, but that's about all because I bought her to use as a broodmare and have been too busy with other horses to use her. She would look stunning, however, as a single hitch on a Meadowbrook cart. I also have many reasons to believe she would be a nice riding horse. Her two oldest foals have done very well in dressage and they get their temperaments and scope from her.

Her foal is due in June and if it's a filly, I would like to have it back if the buyer's not interested in raising a foal. I'm not happy about selling her, but my family is facing a move so I'm advertising several of my horses with the intent to sell the first few and pull the rest back off the market.

Daisy trailers very well, stands for ultrasound without sedation, doesn't need stocks to have her feet trimmed, ties and handles well.

I don't know what her breeding is exactly, but I was told she's part American Creme, and judging by her build, she could be part Belgian.

At any rate, she's a honey. She loves affection and is gentle and patient. Everyone who sees her admires her - she really stands out in a crowd. She's truly a "golden girl."
