LS Mariposa is a gentle sweet 3 yr old Mare stands over 14.2 1/2 hands and growing I expect her to finish around 15 hands. She goes out quietly away from the barn/herd alone or with other strange horses. She is smooth and sensibly minded, seems to like everyone and rides as well for a friend as she does for us. She gaits naturally with promise for the show ring if that is your desire. Responsive and light on the bit. She does not have a spooky or "hot" personality. She was lightly started with 30 days last Fall then put to pasture to grow for the winter. When we saddled her after sitting idle for monthes she stepped out like we had ridden her all winter. No spooky freshness ! She loads, ties, leads, stands for mounting/farrier/worming/shots. No vices or lameness problems. She is easy to catch-greets you at the gate, very friendly and affectionate gets along well in the herd. Her bloodlines are filled with National Champions. She is a simple honest horse looking for a trail partner. She has been raised on my farm in a natural herd setting. Goes through water and is well socialized.
