Sky would make a great open circuit Hunter/Jumper, or Eventer. She is solid over poles and started over small fences, ready to start a career of jumping full time. We are a Western Pleasure barn so she needs to move on to an English home. Her superb jumping talents are simply going unused here.
Sky is a natural jumper and is happiest when going over fences. She becomes quiet, relaxed and focused when jumping. Very easy to rate in a course and does not charge or rush fences. She was started slow and right. She is light with her aids, and is an easy ride.
Sky is also an accomplished trail horse, having spent a year taking weekly trail rides at Folsom Lake. Will happily trek out in groups or alone, jump logs, and loves to swim with her rider. Classy mover with an amazing floaty trot. Sky is relaxed and well behaved in new locations. She is generally a very quite mare and has no known vices.
Sky is brave enough and super sound for cross country, while pretty enough for the dressage. She will make an exceptional show horse no mater which direction you wish to take her.
Sky is a very kind and gentle minded horse. She could easily be ridden by a strong youth or amateur rider. Not a mean bone in her body. Very easy keeper, can live in a stall or in the pasture. Shod or barefoot. Great for the farrier and vet and perfect manors on the ground.
Currently in training with Amanda Winger and will remain until sold.
UPDATE: We are out of room at the barn. We have new colts lined up and winter is coming. We need to see this mare this month! Will consider any offer. She just needs to head down the road to a new home. Price dropped 3k so she can just move. Lets make a deal!
