Beautiful Lipizzan Mare – Ride, Show and Breed!
Don’t miss out on this sweet big bodied Lipizzan mare! She is well bred, as sound as they come and easy to have around. Hara gets along with everyone and always nickers to get your attention, she is very affectionate and kind.
Hara has been in professional training for the last eight months and is getting more and more consistent all the time. With her wonderful gaits and large barrel she is suitable for any size rider including a taller/bigger rider. She is currently schooling all the first level movements and has the talent and mind to keep going up the levels. She has been to schooling shows and was perfect with an amateur rider warming her up and showing. She will trail ride alone or with others. She has never bucked or bolted under saddle. The worst thing she will do is spook in place and bulge away from something new so she can get a better look at it. Usually once she has had an opportunity to look at something she is fine. She does best with a calm assertive rider as she is very sensitive and needs to be assured by her rider that everything is ok.
If you choose to breed her she has wonderful bloodlines to pass on. Her sire was a 16.2 hand Black Hungarian champion and on her mother’s side she Piber (Austria) breed. Although Hara is a grey she carries the rare gene that allows her to have a colored foal! If she is bred to either another carrier or a black or bay there is a 50% chance of having a rare (and considered very good luck) colored foal.
She is up to date on everything you can think of. She has AWESOME feet and was barefoot for years and could be barefoot again depending on the amount of riding and the type of footing. She loves to be groomed and stands perfectly still to get a bath (although she prefers her face be sponged off and not sprayed with the hose!), she ties, clips, loads, and is good for vet and farrier.
Hara doesn’t kick, bite, crib, weave or get herd bound. She has no vices what so ever.
