Danae fan Leandra was Champion Filly at the Morristown, TN keuring in 2009. She is by Goffert Sport (16.3) out ster mare, Famke D (Teunis) from stam 128. Motherline is
S+P+S+SP+MP+M. Her dam was 16.1++ with a mane to her knees. Famke D (Bella) was a "once in a lifetime" mare....kind, elegant and an unbelievable mover and producer. We really feel her loss. Bella produced a filly in 2005 by Beart who became ster, Champion Mare and 1st premium in 2008 and also a 1st Premium and Champion Filly (Bellatrix fan Leandra by Anton) in 2008. Danae is her third living foal and 3rd Champion! Danae is a modern built Friesian with outstanding potential for dressage and the bloodlines to make an excellent broodmare. She is handled daily, good about leading, loading and grooming and an absolute joy to work with. Danae is a very independent and confident filly with a floating trot and a long powerful walk. **Note: The mare shown in the keuring photos is Danae's babysitter, Hiske Trinity. We lost Danae's dam, Famke D, to a twisted intestine on 7/27/09 when Danae was six weeks old. She is an amazingly resiliant filly and has handled her loss unbelievably well.
