Bethje Ster Mare
If your looking for a dressage mare it doesn't get any better than this! Beth is sired by Sjaarrd 320 and out of a mare by Tamme 276. Foaled in Holland, March of 2000 she was a 1st premie filly at
her kuer. In 2008 Beth received her Ster status. She was the only mare in a group of 9 to get her
Ster! Its important to note that the FPS judges have become much harder in the judging for Ster in
the past few years, so Beth is the type and quality that the FPS judges are currently looking for.
This means if you choose to breed Beth to a FPS stallion you will have a better chance of getting
the quality foal that they are now looking for with the new higher standards. Beth is very much
dressage type, an eager student and very willing to work hard for her rider. She has lots of
professional training including clinics with Sabine Shut-Kery, Jane Savoie as well as regular
training with Lisa Postleb. Beths movement is lovely and draws attention where ever she goes.
In the ring she is steady and dependable, rarely spooks, no buck ect...She enjoys a trail ride in
company. In the barn she is sweet as can be. Loves to have her ears rubbed and really loves her
peppermints!! She is very well put together and has a uncommonly pretty head for a friesian. Her
forelock is long and full as is her mane and tail. She has what I would call medium feathering. A
proven broodmare that took on the first try AI, she foaled with no issue. She is a wonderful mom
and is good about having her baby handled. Beth is a easy keeper and has no issues. She vetted
clean in 2008 inc xrays. She is available for sale at $17,900 or possible lease to someone in full
dressage training with a reputable trainer in the North East only. I bought Beth last year to breed to my stallion Rooster. I
knew the moment I saw Beth move she was special. What I didnt realize is how special!! I have
been involved in Friesians for several years and I know just how hard it is to find a Friesian mare
with Beths talent for dressage. I would love to see her go to a permanent dressage home where
she will soar up the levels with her special person. I also feel if Beth was to be taken back to the
Beth is totally capable of getting her Sport predicate. Video available
