There is no recession when you finally find a horse like this one! Chick is DNA Typed # QH452780 and enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund program. She is drop-dead gorgeous and grabs everyone's attention wherever she goes. In fact, I'm often asked if she is for sale. Her Resume' and Bio speaks for itself...We purchased her in 2004, after having nine months of professional reining training and three babies. We still have her carrot colored palomino filly, who is also for sale at $ 4,500. Sandy has 90 days of professional training and ready to go any direction your heart desires. Her photos coming soon!
Horses like Chick are in demand, yet very hard to find...for she's such a pretty girl who is extremely easy to handle, very disciplined and is as obedient as they come. She travels the trails with a low, low head set, displaying confidence and agility, all while watching every step. She'll lope up grade, and gear down to low speed when declining the mountains and bluffs. When taking the lead horse position, I'll drop the reins and allow her to guide the others at "free rein" , always making me proud of her natural ability to find the right trail. When riding, I'm constantly stretching her ability, which has allowed her to excel and exceed my every expectation! She is so smart and extremely calm...I've ridden backwards in the saddle, side-saddle, hanging off one stirrup, just being silly...and she has never bolted, reared, bucked or spooked with such comedy going on in the saddle. Deer have jumped in front of us and she simply turns her head to watch them leap away. This mare has no fear of crossing or swimming in water, of wildlife, four-wheelers, bicycles, bears, dogs...she has literally seen EVERYTHING for we've ridden EVERYWHERE....from desert to snow capped mountains. We actually rode under a rail road tressel as the train passed overhead and even the shaking of the timber trusses and the loud blowing whistle didn't bother her one bit. You can ride with a halter and bareback...very laid back, and has a beautiful western pleasure head set, trot and lope!! Also rode her in drill competition and she was awesome, for she picked up the 12 minute routine quickly, after only four practices! This mare is not a barrel horse and I will not sell her to anyone who will use her that way. Her spirit is kind and very low key...laid back...yet, with a gentle squeeze to her sides, you're quickly in a smooth rockin' chair lope. Chick is very, very well trained and willing to please her rider. She hops right in the trailer and is anxious to hit the trails, loves her bath after a full day of riding and enjoys healthy treats as her rewards! Easy keeper for she stays fabulously fit grazing our pastures!
We are selling our ranch to be near our new grandbaby girl and the move forces me to sell her...but, the price is firm! I've been offered much more for this mare by people who have seen her in action out on the trails. This is not about money...I'm going to be very selective as to her new home and owner. Chick is a "Once in a Lifetime" kind of girl and she's been a genuine friend who has taken care of me in some tough places, where I could have easily lost my life or limb if it had not been for her quick thinking ability!!!!! Her trail experience, worldly wisdom, safety integrity, honesty and faithfulness is truly priceless! It's next to impossible to find a companion like this with the reining training and trail experience she possesses. I went through eight horses before I found her!!! You are buying a beautiful and intelligent mare who is very solid and has approximately 2,400 hours out on the trails....literally!!! Over the years, we've had countless trail rides with wonderful memories, long trail vacations several times each year... and this is your golden opportunity to buy this golden Palomino, priced well under her genuine value! Mr. Gene Beggs, if you're out there, she's finally for sale at half what you offered me on the Star ride!!! Also, Tina Krause, Nancy Slokum and Ron Wilson...she's online now and for sale. I cannot find your phone numbers, but hope you see her on this site. Thank you for your many compliments and interest and may the best person with the kindest heart win the friendship and ownership of this wonderful mare!!!
